Scan with your phone
MeatXpress is an Android app, so point your phone's camera at this code to open this page there.
Or type meatxpress.in/get into your phone's browser.
There's no iPhone app yet.
We'd rather tell you that plainly than have you download something that won't run. MeatXpress is Android-only today, and iOS is on the list.
Send us a message and we'll tell you the day the iPhone app is ready.

Three steps, and the exact words Android will show you.
Android is deliberately cautious about apps that don't come from the Play Store. Nothing below means anything is wrong — but it helps to know what's coming.
- 1
Download the file
Tap the download button above. Chrome may ask you to confirm the download — that is normal for an app file.
- 2
Allow this one install
Open the downloaded file. Android will block it the first time, because it only trusts the Play Store by default. Tap Settings in that dialog, turn on the permission for your browser, then go back. You only ever do this once.
Android says: “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source”
- 3
Choose "Install anyway"
Play Protect will warn you that it does not recognise the developer. It says this about every app not downloaded from the Play Store, including ours. Tap "Install anyway" and the app installs normally.
Android says: “Unsafe app blocked”
The honest answer
Why isn't it on the Play Store?
Because we're in beta, and we're still changing the app quickly based on what early Silchar customers tell us. Distributing the file ourselves means we can ship a fix the same afternoon someone reports a problem, instead of waiting on store review.
A Play Store listing is planned once the app settles down. Nothing about the app changes when that happens — it's the same app, signed with the same key.
What you should not do is take our word for it. Below is the checksum of the exact file we published, so you can verify that what you downloaded is what we built.
Verify the file you downloaded
Run this on the downloaded file. If the output matches the digest below, the file is byte-for-byte the one we published.

What the app asks for, and why
-
Location
To work out your delivery address and find the nearest partner shop. You can type your address in by hand instead — the app works without granting this.
-
Network access
To reach our servers so the app can load products and place your order. Without it the app cannot function at all.
That's the complete list. No contacts, no photos, no microphone, no background tracking.
Still hesitating?
-
Is it safe to install the app from your website?
It is the same app we would put on the Play Store, signed with our own key. Because it is not downloaded from the Play Store, Android will warn you that the source is unknown and Play Protect will ask you to confirm — that is expected for every directly-downloaded app and is not a sign of a problem. We publish the file size and a SHA-256 checksum on the download page so you can verify the file you received is exactly the one we published. -
Why is the app not on the Play Store?
We are in beta and still changing things quickly on the strength of what early Silchar customers tell us. Distributing the APK directly lets us ship a fix the same day instead of waiting on review. A Play Store listing is planned once the app settles. -
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet — MeatXpress is Android-only today. If you are on an iPhone, leave your number on the download page and we will message you when the iOS app is ready. We would rather tell you that than have you download something that will not run. -
What permissions does the app ask for, and why?
Location, so we can work out your delivery address and find the nearest partner shop — you can also type the address in by hand instead. And network access, which the app needs to reach our servers at all. That is the full list.
Anything else — message us on WhatsApp and a person will answer.
